Hey friends and happy
It's been a little over a month since I've blogged last but have no fear, I, once again, have internet. At least, I hope that means I'll blog more. I have had no motivation to blog. I am hoping that as the summer winds down, the school year starts, and we make our way to Colorado, I will be blogging more in order to keep ya'll up with our new life there. I haven't started looking online again for places to live, nor checked out more places to work, because my first step is finding out what has to be done in order to renew my degree-- yes, I have a degree that needs to be renewed every few years. How does that work? Don't ask me. I think it's moderately ridiculous but that's what I get for not going to a four year! I definately don't want to be in school again. As easy as my last few childcare courses were, I do not have the school mind set, nor the want or motivation (there's that word again) to take time for the time consuming assignments. Annnd I hate making phone calls such as that one. Any phone call that needs to be made I put off and off for ever. You know how it is.

I can't believe how fast the summer has gone! It's been a busy one and I am one step closer to my life in Colorado. I am all moved back into my parent's house and I was more than ready to be. I loved my little apartment and great location and neighbor (not neighbors, because, well, you know the story) but it's good to be 5 minutes from work, have tv and internet and live with my fam dam for these last few months. And Oscar and Olive are loving being able to run from one side of the house to the other. Our 5 cats and a dog are working very nicely together.

Next week, I will have been working for Kindercare for 4 years! 4 years! Seems like it's been a lot less time than that but that's a good thing. I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. And you love your job.
Speaking of vacation time, I was told this week that at your 5 year anniversary your vacation time doubles. Awesome. All the more reason to stay working for Kindercare for another year. Who am I kidding, I'm going to be a lifer there. Anyone who knows me knows this about me. I'm going to be 80 and rocking babies.

And speaking of awesome, Joel has informed me that, during the week we are in Breckenridge in September, October Fest will be going on. I told my mom out of pure excitement and she had to remind me of the reason we will be there that week. Oh yeah, I have to find a job. That's right. We're not just going on vacation?
Whatever, golf clubs are coming!  Work and play, it's an easy concept, really.

I'm hoping during that week, I will figure out where I will be working so we can start our house hunt. Knowing my love for HGTV, my mom suggested going online and applying to be on For Rent and have Jodi Gilmour help us out. I've never heard of such a good idea!

As for today, sunshine, please come out to play.
I'm freezing.
